Open-ended Travel

Open-ended Travel

I was sitting in a book store in Dublin waiting for my dear wife and partner, Elyn, as she tried to find the perfect Moleskin note pad for her purse. How I love these traditional bookstores, which have almost disappeared from the USA. All around me were thousands of books of all descriptions. What a treasure trove!

Suddenly it came to me out of the blue—a project just waiting to be written—a “how to” guide to open-ended travel. Open-ended travel, in case you don’t know, is the kind of travel we have been engaging in for the past few years where we have no itinerary and follow our noses from place to place. I wrote several pieces on this last year, which you can check out here: https://www.fandangolife.com/blog/2018/3/9/my-reward-for-saying-yes.

So, dear reader, have you engaged in open-ended travel? If so, please email me with your experiences. I need input from other readers to begin this book project. Also, email me if you think this is a good or bad idea for a book project. I will be interested in all your responses. Just email me at: tchbth@mac.com with your comments.
